Yummy Citrus Fruit

Winter time is the season many citrus fruits become available fresh in grocery stores.   Many are familiar with Florida's navel oranges and grapefruits.   But there are many other kinds of orange colored citrus fruits out there.

Mandarins are one of my favorite oranges.  They are easy to peel, sweet and juicy.   There are several varieties of mandarins available such as tangerines and clementines.   You often see these small citrus fruits in small boxes or mesh bags in grocery stores.  Halos or Little Cuties are examples of these.   I love them and eat as many as I can while they are in season.
